- fixed yi:MediaWiki:Sitenotice/en should be used not
yi:MediaWiki:Sitenotice/En - Hi! First I have select the English interface in the באַזונדער:preferences. Then I pressed CTRL+SHIFT+R. Why yi:MediaWiki:Sitenotice/En is not activated ? Tray it and go to the comunity portal yi:Project:Village Pump (this is a redirect). I made a similar test with switsching the interface to Romanian. That works either.
- It seems that it does not relate to RTL because sq:MediaWiki:Sitenotice/En does not show either. Anyhow commons:MediaWiki:Uploadtext/de shows up. Best regards Gangleri | Ti | T 15:41, 30 Apr 2005 (UTC)

- Sorry! I did not notice this item because of various difficulties with my PC's.
- Search "MediaZill" for "seach" in summary and Search "MediaZill" for "seach" in comment are very long lists.
- Please provide examples and make some priorities. This should make it easier to get the issues fixed. Thanks in advance. Best regards

notes about search
[רעדאַקטירן קוואַלטעקסט]- Dear friends, last days I have found a note stating that search requires at least four characters.
- I understand that the following is a valid MediaWiki syntax: באַזונדער:Search/מאשין
which is used at the beginning of #004.
- Please note that this is not the same as באַזונדער:Search/מאַשין
.
- Beside these two one can use also google:מאשין
and google:מאַשין
and google:ווערטער
and google:װערטער
.
- Please note that the search function is postponed, a change that you make today will be visible only some days later. This depends on server load an developers should be able to offer the right answers.
- Spelling will be an issue because באַזונדער:Search/ווערטער
is not the same as באַזונדער:Search/װערטער
written with "tsvey-vovn".
- Please list further examples and questions in order to get this fixed. Thanks in advance!

- Dear friends! It seems that this bug is very difficult to trace. Because of the structure of the servers of the Wikimedia Foundation we all see different cached versions on different servers.
- If you taker a look at the source code in your browser: Go to "View" then "Source code" and you will see a comment before the last line which looks like this:

- It is a reference to a server. I hope this will help developers and us to identify exactly where (and when) the problem happens.
- It seems that it happens when MediaWiki software is updated / "sync"ed between the development branch and the "live" software.

- באַזונדער:Version now shows a higher resolution of the MediaWiki updates: "MediaWiki: 1.7alpha (r13553)"
- We should use the full version as reference in the future to better identify problems.

As for this bug, it was also in the Hebrew Wikipedia. For the next time – editing and saving the page מעדיעװיקי:Sidebar (without changing the text) fixes the problem. – rotemliss (Talk; a sysop in Hebrew Wikipedia, Wikiquote and Wikisource) 16:28, 16 אַפּריל 2006 (UTC)
